why was the author of the article so surprized Joanne was the first star given a star on the Hollywood walk of fame it was pre-promotion for the film the Fugitive kind with Marlon Brando coincidence is three of the four main stars had won oscars previously that would be Brando for On The Waterfront 3/30/1955 Magnani for The Rose Tattoo 3/21/1956 and Woodward for The Three Faces Of Eve 3/26/1958 mind you there’s 18 nominations between the four and 5 wins

The Academy engraved nameplates for all the nominees. The ones that don’t get used will be melted for scrap. There will be professional screw-turners there to attach the nameplates for the winners.

Why is that the award winners won’t have to give bacck the Oscar for nameplates, have they already attached them this time ??
Won’t it b a li’l tricky..chances of a leak may b high ??
